SanMar Appoints Melissa Nelson as General Counsel

Seattle, WA; January 25, 2008�SanMar Corporation, a leading supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, has appointed Melissa Nelson to the role of General Counsel.

Nelson comes to SanMar with over 8 years of legal experience, particularly in commercial litigation. Most recently, Nelson was an associate at Perkins Coie LLP. Nelson received her undergraduate degree from the University of California-Berkeley and her law degree from the New York University School of Law.

In her new role, Nelson will protect SanMar trademarks and clarify product terminology. Nelson will also be overseeing social compliance and environmental practices.
