SanMar Hires Bud Schmitt as Northeast Regional Sales Manager

With over 25 years of imprinted sportswear experience, this former vice president of sales for Broder Bros. and NES Clothing brings his expertise to SanMar.

Seattle, WA; Apr. 7, 2009—SanMar® Corporation, a leading supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, has hired imprinted sportswear veteran Bud Schmitt as the northeast regional sales manager.

As northeast regional sales manager, Schmitt is charged with overseeing the northeast team of territory managers and executing SanMar’s sales strategy in the region. Schmitt brings over 25 years of imprinted sportswear experience in the areas of sales strategies, management and business development. Schmitt is assuming the role previously held by Mark Bailey who has been promoted to strategic account manager.

Most recently, Schmitt was the northeast vice president of sales for Broder Bros. Prior to that, Schmitt served for 12 years as the vice president of sales for NES Clothing Company. A native of Philadelphia, MA, Schmitt has spent the last 20 years in Holliston, MA with his wife and three children.
