Seattle, WA; May 6, 2009—SanMar® Corporation, a leading supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, announces its upcoming District Threads™ Design-a-Tee contest, May 12-29, 2009, which offers decorators the opportunity to create the most original, creative tee designs and a chance to win $1,000 in District Threads merchandise.
“We have a lot of fun with the District Threads brand,” says SanMar senior marketing manager Lee Strom. “And we want our customers to feel the same way. So we designed a contest that not only engages the creativity of our decorators, but hopefully will excite a larger audience, too.”
The contest kicks off with the launch of the new District Threads Web site on May 11, 2009 and runs through May 29, during which time decorators can create and submit their unique designs online. After a panel of judges narrows the online entries down to ten finalists, one winner will be chosen through two weeks of online voting, June 8-June 19. During this online voting period, decorators can invite their friends, co-workers and associates to vote for their winning pick.
The grand prize winner will be announced on June 22 and will receive $1,000 in District Threads merchandise, along with online exposure of their winning design. The remaining finalists will each receive $250 in District Threads merchandise. To view the official rules and learn more about the contest, visit www.sanmar.com/designatee.
