Low Resolution Images

Throughout the website, Thumbnails are used to preview each image.

  • If you click on the STYLE number, you will be taken to the corresponding Detail Page with additional information on the selected image.
  • Click on the thumbnail to enlarge the Image
  • You can click on the thumbnail to enlarge the Image from the page you are browsing on, or the detail page

Once you have selected the image you want do the following:

For Windows Users

  • Right Click directly over the Image, and select "Save Target As?"

For Macintosh Users or Netscape Users

  • Position the cursor over the Image, left-click on an image while holding down the shift-button.

High Resolution Image Files

In order to use the High Resolution TIF images, you will need to have a high end graphics program, some of which are listed below. Click on the link to the High Resolution TIF image and save the File to a folder on your computer.

You will need to save it to a folder where you will be able to find it later, so it might be a good idea to create a folder specifically for this purpose.

All High Resolution Images have been compressed with a .ZIP compression utility. This reduces the file size and speeds up the download. You can obtain a .ZIP utility from Winzip or Stuffit Expander.

Once you have decompressed the .ZIP file locally (on your computer) you will be able to open it with a High End Graphics Program of your choice. High Resolution Images can be manipulated best in the following programs:

Zip Compression Utilities

Use a Zip Compression Utility to decompress the Hi-Resolution Image Files.

Winzip For Windows Users or, Stuffit Expander for Macintosh Users.

Internet Explorer 6.0 Image Toolbar support

The Image Library supports the Image Toolbar functionality available in Internet Explorer 6.0.

  • Simply click on any thumbnail to enlarge the image.
  • Position the Mouse Cursor over the Image you have selected.

When the user mouses over an image that meets particular requirements, the My Pictures hovering toolbar will appear after one half second, and will disappear immediately after the user moves the cursor off the image. The hovering toolbar has three to four buttons depending upon the browser client and user operating system. They are Save this image, Print this image, Send this image in an e-mail, and Open My Pictures folder.

  • The Save this image button opens the Save Picture dialog box and allows you to save the image somewhere on your system.
  • The Print this image button opens the Print dialog box allowing you to specify the printer and additional options before sending the image to the printer.
  • The Send this image in an e-mail button opens a new e-mail message with the default e-mail client and includes the picture as an attachment to the message.
  • The Open My Pictures folder button opens the My Pictures folder within Microsoft Windowså Explorer for browsing. The image cannot be saved to the My Pictures folder using this button.

Emailing Files or Pictures

Eudora

  1. Open Eudora.

    To open the Program you may see Eudora on the startup screen (Desktop) of your computer. Eudora can be opened by quickly pressing the left button on the mouse twice.

    If you cannot find Eudora on the desktop, press (with the button on the left side of your mouse) on the Windows start button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. After the button has been pressed, more options will appear. Move your mouse to the space that says Programs; you should then see a list of your programs. Move the mouse to the area that says Eudora. Press the left button on your mouse and the program will open.
  2. Click with the left button on your mouse on the area near the top of the screen that reads Message. Move your mouse to the area that says New Message. Press the right button on your mouse again.

    In Liu of Step 2, the Control (Ctrl) button on the keyboard and the N key pressed simultaneously will open a new message to compose.

  4. Click with mouse on the area marked Message near the top of the screen.
  5. Move your mouse to the area that reads Attach File.

    In Liu of Steps 4 and 5, you may press the Control (Ctrl) and the H key on your keyboard.
  6. Select the File that you want to send.

    Tip: It is important that you know where the file is located on your computer. Try to remember where you saved the file.

    Look in the window for the file. If you cannot find it, look near the top of the window. You will see that there are the words look in. To the right of the space following Look In. You will see an upside down triangle. Press this upside down triangle. Click (with the left-hand button of your mouse) on one of the names that appear. Does your file appear then? If it does not click on the upside down triangle again, click another name. Continue this process until you find the file.
  7. Click on Open with the left-hand button on your mouse.
  8. Compose and Send Message. You may need to begin by clicking in the area below the Attach box. Compose the message, as you would like it to appear to the reader.
  9. Move your mouse to the area that says send. It should be just above the area where the email address was entered. Press on the word ?send? with the left button of your mouse.

    The file has been attached and will be sent when the send button is pressed.

    Note it may take some time to transfer the file over after the send button is pressed.
